WEEKLY UPDATES FOR VANCOUVER BUSINESSES AFFECTED BY BY COVID-19

Our city is facing major challenges, and we will be talking a lot about them over the coming months. The biggest challenge, by far, is our housing crisis. I am both proud and humbled to be part of the #LetsFixHousing movement. Our movement is full of people who love Vancouver. We have all committed to identify and implement the changes needed to make it possible for middle class working people to live in and enjoy our city again.

As a small business owner here in Vancouver, I know how difficult the COVID-19 crisis has been for our community.

I am working with over a dozen organizations representing hundreds of key stakeholders from the business, industry and non-profit sectors, to develop and implement real solutions for business owners and their staff. Organizations include the Business Improvement Areas of British Columbia (BIABC), BC Economic Development Association, Save Small Business, Social Capital Partners, LOCO BC, and other Business Improvement Areas and small business owners and property owners.

My team is keeping track of the programs and measures implemented by all levels of government, nonprofits and other institutions, that aim to help businesses affected by COVID-19.

We are sending out weekly updates with all the information you need in one place and updates on the measures I am working on in my role as City Councillor.
